Competence

B&T Exact is an owner-managed, medium-sized company, which is specialized in processing light construction components. Since starting business in 1997 the company has grown to a leading supplier of system solutions in the automotive industry. During this time the company has achieved not only good knowledge about handling aluminium, but also an expertise in processing technical fabrics for the production of roller blinds for trucks, busses and rolling stock. This has contributed to the fact that B&T Exact is the market leader in the bus roller blind sector and has been holding a large share of the market for roller blinds for trucks and rolling stock for many years.

Not only the automotive industry but also the public and private transport make high demands on their suppliers and take for granted certain bases regarding quality, health and safety regulations and environmental management. Naturally B&T Exact GmbH complies with these requirements and is certified according to ISO TS 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Moreover the company has the admission for adhesive bonding according to DIN 6701 and the welding certificate according to DIN EN 15085-2. Both of them are very important for the rail industry.

The products of B&T Exact GmbH are subdivided in three business areas in order to respond to the different demands of the automotive industry.

  • » ISO TS 16949 Frauenstein

Business Areas

Our three business areas – ASC, ASD and PIP – are not only different regarding the products belonging to each product group but also regarding the branches which are being served by these business areas.

ASC

ASC is the abbreviation for Aluminium-Structural Components and includes the structural components made of aluminium extruded profiles used in the automotive industry. Due to the development of new procedures and alloys we make a contribution to the fact that aluminium is increasingly used in cars. Herewith we can offer to car manufacturers and automobile suppliers the highest quality (0 ppm) and cost saving at the same time.

ASD

ASD is the abbreviation for Aluminium System Design and contains roller blind systems and interior products being in use in different branches. The interior products as luggage racks, air grilles and side panels in particular are used in trains, while our roller blinds in addition are used in busses, trucks or agricultural and construction machinery.

PIP

We produce thermoplastic articles with a weight of up to 250 g. PIP is the abbreviation for Plastic-Injection Parts. Due to our long-term experience in handling thermoplastic material we guarantee our customers high quality and short delivery times. Another advantage for you is that we can deliver completely fitted plastic assemblies.

If you are looking for a reliable partner for the production and delivery of roller blinds, interior components or aluminium structural components, we are the people to ask. According to the normative ISO TS 16949 requested by the automotive industry, we support you as a system supplier from your first inquiry to series production of your products.

This is your advantage: As a system supplier we not only take care of the construction of the components but also coordinate the complete handling. You have one contact person only and don’t have to worry about anything else.

Purchasing Department

The central purchasing department in Gevelsberg is responsible for providing the necessary material for the whole company. This includes raw materials, operation supplies, bought-in parts, tools and machinery, transport services, office equipment and stationary.

Our business objectives are the basis for our purchasing policy. The most important aspect is that we always focus on the customer’s satisfaction. Within the scope of this purchasing policy we are interested in long-term business relations with our suppliers.

The following four issues are the basis for a successful cooperation:

  • » open communication
  • » a strategic supply partnership
  • » a globally working full service supplier
  • » an efficient supply-chain management

If you don’t yet fulfil the mentioned requirements, but if we recognize a sustainable potential for a cooperation with you, we are prepared to support you in order to realize a common future. In this context the most important topic is the customer being in the focus of all our activities.

Corporate Compliance

As a responsible member of society we have always felt obliged to fulfil legal regulations, regulatory standards and further self-imposed ethical standards and requirements. As we have been member of the German Railway Industry Association (VBD) for many years, the VBD – Code of Conduct, among other things, is a binding directive for us. You can read the contents of this Code of Conduct here.

Trademark

In the last years we noticed that some of our roller blinds – suitable for agricultural and construction machinery - are recurrently used. In order to make these blinds competitive even in small batch sizes, we developed a new standard which doesn’t cause further development costs and therefore can be offered at a favourable price.
Since 2010 we offer you this new roller blind type under the trademark OHB. Following this Link  you will find further information regarding these roller blinds.
